K°Air’s Pressure Power System: K°Air has developed its multi-patent pending Pressure Power System that is the first and only to harness the Ambient Temperature of the existing surroundings, ranging from only 0°C to 35°C, to produce electricity, as opposed to the 300°C to 650°C required by steam turbines. This Ambient Temperature is sourced from the temperature outdoors; the room temperature of a building, office or home; or the temperature inside a manufacturing or industrial facility, where the temperature is warmer because of the heat generated from operations such as a foundry, manufacturing, mining, pulp & paper, textiles, commercial kitchens & bakeries, or dry cleaning.

The K°Air Pressure Power System can achieve an average capacity utilization ranging from 75% to 95% from the Ambient Temperature alone, which can be increased if and when necessary from other sources of green energy including solar, wind or water mills, geothermal, biomass and commercial or industrial heat recovery sources.

The K°Air Pressure Power System represents a major improvement of steam turbine generator systems, which currently produce more than 80% of the world's supply of electricity.


K°Air’s Mission: K°Air's mission is to supply the growing demand for the production of electricity from renewable green energy on demand with close to 100% capacity utilization on a low cost, zero pollution basis.

Business Opportunity: K°Air believes there is a substantial market for the production of electricity on demand from a readily available, renewable and free source of green energy, the Ambient Temperature, with a significantly higher capacity utilization than other sources of green energy such as wind and solar, and that does not use fossil fuels.
Competing Technologies: Currently, more than 80% of the world's production of electricity is by steam turbine generator systems.

These burn fossil fuels or use nuclear fusion to heat water at very high temperatures ranging from 300°C to 650°C, to generate the very high pressures, ranging from 180 bars to 250 bars, required to produce the flow of high pressure steam needed to actuate the steam turbines, which turn the generators to produce electricity.

However, with the high and increasing costs of oil, natural gas, fuel derivatives and coal, and with concerns about the safety of nuclear fusion and about the environment and greenhouse effects and their consequences on global warming, there is an increasing demand for production of electricity from environmentally friendly energy sources.

But alternative green energy systems face a number of problems. These include intermittent low capacity utilization ranging from 15% to 35% for wind & solar; location dependency for wind, hydro & geothermal; long pay back periods of 15 to 30 years; and high maintenance costs. In most cases, there is a need for significant supplemental power systems that can provide 100% of the maximum electricity production required.

For the 65% to 85% of the time an alternative green energy system is not operating or is providing insufficient electricity, the supplemental sources of electricity continue to consume large amounts of fossil fuels.
